Fifty children graduated from Hope Bus 1 on October 4, 2018.  Dignitaries from the Iraqi Ministries of Education, Health, Culture, and Labor and Social Affairs attended the celebration along with Iraq's Ambassador for Children, Ms. Zena Qaragholi.

The 50 children who graduated wore caps and gowns and received special certificates and gifts.  Many of the children will now enroll in public school to continue their education.

Hope Bus 1 has been providing tutoring, nutrition, health care, and social services to orphans and street kids in one Baghdad’s poorest neighborhoods since May 2017.  Following the graduation, a new group of 48 children are signed up to attend Hope Bus 1.

A new Hope Bus 2 is also nearing completion and will serve vulnerable children in a second desperately poor area.  Already, 50 children are registered for the brand new "Hope Bus 2."
