Get Involved
There are countless ways that you, your colleagues, your family and friends can get involved and make a difference to the children of Iraq. Here are a few ideas you could think about . . .
Hungry? Hosting a fundraising picnic or BBQ could be a fun, informal way of highlighting the importance of the work ICF does with your support.
Community fundraising! Organizing a school fundraising event can help create awareness and and impactful links within your community.
Feeling sporty? Sponsored walkathons or sports events - create your own theme, a dress up cross country 10k? A sponsored dog walk? Annually we host our ICF 5K ‘In Their Shoes’ event and often need volunteers. (This year we are doing something a little different, so watch this space!)
Bake offs! Do you like baking? How about a bake off on a Friday afternoon at work? Or a gathering with friends and family?
Get in touch via email and we can help you with ideas for your event or fundraising campaign.
Become a Corporate Mentor
Our Corporate Mentors mean a lot to us, and allow us to accomplish so much for the children of Iraq. We work closely with our Corporate Mentors to make sure that CSR investments are used to implement crucial and significant initiatives in Iraq, with life-changing outcomes for vulnerable children.
Become a friend of ICF
When you give monthly, you’ll also become a ‘Friend of ICF’, a passionate community invested in a world where all Iraqi children have a voice, are heard, and are empowered to reach their full potential.
The Iraqi Love Campaign
Our amazing volunteers have done so much to support Iraqi Children Foundation and we are always grateful for the fun and creative ways they support us. Here is what they say about their idea…
“We were inspired by this piece of art to start the #iraqilovecampaign. We are a community of Iraqis who want to see our country thrive. We designed T-shirts to help support this cause. All the proceeds will go to @iraqichildren you will help orphans and street children have access to food, education, meals, and legal services. Please show your Iraqi pride, spread awareness, and help those desperate children by purchasing a T-Shirt. Design credit @osama_sadiq1 “
